I have been struggling mightily with feeding my family. How in the world do I feed my crew crowd pleasing meals, on a budget that pack a nutritional punch!? Do you have this figured out? If so, would you consider posting about it? With all of the other wonderful thoughts you share, I would love to hear how this works for your family. Maybe you have posted about it somewhere and i missed it. If you've already covered it somewhere, maybe you could point me in that direction. Thanks in advance!Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757769321436298177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3363247083579931414.post-86084126034970922502013-05-22T07:32:43.308-04:002013-05-22T07:32:43.308-04:00I have ground hogs and pesky rabbits galore. We just fenced in a raised bed and planted spinach and lettuce, I'll let you know if they scale the barrier ;)Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757769321436298177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3363247083579931414.post-72578379188512282002013-05-22T07:11:40.712-04:002013-05-22T07:11:40.712-04:00Oh yes, the endless chatter, multiplied by the num...Oh yes, the endless chatter, multiplied by the number of children some of whom can't even talk yet, but chatter all the same! I remember one summer getting so fed up with the groundhog family that I poured Quickcrete down the hole in an attempt to block it...they just dug a new one and kept right on eating! Including climbing the lower limbs of the apple trees to get the apples! Boxes on the porch rails should be pretty safe though...KLydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757769321436298177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3363247083579931414.post-11120406383114054022013-05-21T18:52:30.406-04:002013-05-21T18:52:30.406-04:00i just love the beginnings of gardens. so much pro...i just love the beginnings of gardens. so much promise.Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757769321436298177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3363247083579931414.post-10541116933737665222013-05-21T13:39:37.885-04:002013-05-21T13:39:37.885-04:00Fiona sounds like Reece today at the garden center...Fiona sounds like Reece today at the garden center. He came home with a little tray of flowers for his garden and had to plant them as soon as we pulled in the driveway :)

I do hope the containers keep those ground hogs at bay and you can enjoy some of that wonderful food you are planting. Good luck!Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757769321436298177noreply@blogger.com
