Weekends Are For...



Chocolate cake, our third in a week. This cake has given me confidence I never before possessed when it comes to baking. Plus, it is scrumptious.  Look, we even saved the last lick of frosting for you!



Beautiful new yarn, 2 skeins full of possibilities. I see pretty Spring Socks in my future.

 

Spending time with family, watching our kids forge these important relationships that will last a lifetime.

And me, trying to learn to relax and enjoy, not to sweat the little things and just breathe.

    love the yarn! Wish I had let my grandma teach me to knit! What a pretty spring sweater that yarn would make (Canada...still just above zero here).
    I choose the chocolate cake to keep me warm though. LOL
