Breathing



Today, feeling a bit overwhelmed.  Some days it just feels too hard to catch my breath.  My brain is swirling with a million to do lists.



~Prepping for company.

~3 birthdays coming up

~prioritizing my marriage

~getting healthy/organized/efficient

~making the most of this Lent



It's all leaving me a bit frazzled.  So today I'm working on getting back to basics.  Start one thing, finish it, take a deep breath, move on.

It seems so simple but sometimes it can be so easy to forget to do the simple, basic things.  Sometimes it can seem like using a teaspoon to dig out of a pit of quick sand, but it truly does make a difference.  If only in giving me the confidence to proceed, step after step, moment by moment.

  1. I know this feeling all too well. I often have to remind myself to take things one minute at a time and just do the best I can in that minute and then move on. It can be exhausting at times though because I realize just how long some days really are. :)

  2. I know what you mean. I just feel helpless, like I'm standing at the foot of a mountain, looking up and knowing no matter how high I climb, I'll never make it to the top. One step at a time. <3
