Loving the Present
In the car at the end of a day trip with my family, blue sky stretching as far as the eye could see, windows down, babes snoozing in the back, holding hands with the husband. A song came on the radio that said "We're as free as we'll ever be."
And although at home there are bills to pay and dinner to make and laundry to fold and life to live, for the present there is nothing to do but hold on to this gift: a moment of nothing more than being together and being in love with all these people who make my world complete.
Finding these perfectly unplanned moments in life is like uncovering buried treasure. I hope to be a treasure hunter for the rest of my life.
