Weekends are for water when humidity rises and temperatures spike. Water for big kids, squelching through the drenched yard beneath the spray of an impressive sprinkler. Water for babies, splashing delighted in the kitchen sink. But most of all, water for thirsty souls on a steamy summer Sabbath:
On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
