:: Right Now::
Right now, I am
Adoring the little fella in the above picture...not such a baby anymore, this guy is one of my biggest helpers! Pictured here after requesting an apron so he could dust correctly.
Thankful for the time spent with family and friends over the weekend.
Tired from all the parties and late nights.
Thinking of making a few skirts for my girls out of whatever I can find in my scrap bag.
Planning what to pack for our trip to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, coming up this weekend.
Hoping that all goes smoothly and our little car makes it the whole way with no hiccups!
Noticing that, while I do have a lot of nesting energy these days, the days of peaceful, comfortable sleep are behind me. Night waking with painful hips and back are here. Hello, third trimester! At very least, it serves as a reminder that, in mere weeks, someone new will join us.
Enjoying staying on top of laundry. 2 loads a day, so easy compared to stashing up a weeks worth of laundry and trying to fold and put away 12 loads at one time. Keeping hampers empty has also meant bedrooms are less cluttered and easier to keep picked up. What's not to love?
Watching/Hearing rain every day, and seeing the tiny green baby leaves unfurl on the tips of trees. Yes, Spring!
Wondering at the best use of the wool I bought for baby #5...I am thinking longies, sweaters and buntings for fall/winter.
Knitting customs.. Skirties and longies and baby sweaters. I have some slots available if anyone needs anything!
Finding peace in getting back to our regular rhythms of life - celebrations are fun and exciting, but home and schedule keep me centered.
Loving the delicious grass fed beef we recently purchased. The taste difference is remarkable, and I love knowing that it is truly healthy and good for my family.
How are things with you, right now?
